Flickering at 640x480 avi

Everything works well on my toshiba satellite 1,8Mz even with 640x480 avi resolution, but there is only one problem: when I use use overlay from layer to layer to the position 0 or 100 then bottom half part of movie starts flickering. (It's not happens when I use 320x240 video of course, but re-so-lu-tion!) Can you help me to fix that bug?

what overlay mode exactly does this? or do all the overlay modes have the same problem? if so please email us one of the files so we can try to reproduce the bug here and see if we can fix it.
