wheni installed a second (pci) card in my PC, when i next turned the machine on, the image came up on the PCI card to start with. Once windows had started, i installed the drivers for the PCI card, then set up the dual monitor arrangement from the desktop.
(using win2k)

ive heard that 2 seperate video cards only work when one is an agp card, can this be the problem?

In you BIOS check that the video card is PCI, your primary video card must be PCI (on older motherboards) and the dual monitor is the AGP.

Both cards can be PCI.

Hope that helps

You would be better off buying a dualhead card for your PC. I've tried installing two video cards (AGP+PCI) and have gome pretty mad over it.
All I was able to do was have both cards functioning but can't access the settings for each card or the system will block.
For running resolume the best thing is a dualhead card or a card with tv-out.
bye
