PICVideo MJPEG v3 or v4?

Hi.. I just bought the PICvideo M-JPEG Codec v3 from the resolume shop. I then went to the Pegasus Imaging homepage to get some information, and I realised that the current version for this codec is v4..:

In the "new features" overview it says that v4 implements a 64-bit M-JPEG codec and Support for the Windows Vista operating system.
Now, having vista, I was wondering:
1. what's the difference between v3 and v4?
2. why does resolume sell the old version?
3. will I have problems using vista and v3? (since I already bought it, I'd stick to the v3 to avoid spending another 30euro)

Good questions! Even we did not know it was updated to v4, we,ll contact them and see what's up.

thanks bart.. I think I'd rather use the v4 because of the vista issue. Who do I have to contact to swap my purchase (pay the differece if it costs more)? I bought version 3 yesterday, and from Pegasus' homepage it is not even possible to buy version 3.
Anyway, if I in the meantime, waiting for your answer, start to esport videos with version 3, do you think I'll run into any problems once I change to version 4? (I remind you that I am on a pc with vista and am for now testing resolume avenue beta). thanks again..

v3 works fine on Vista and videos encoded with v3 will work with v4. v4 will only benefit you if you run the 64 bit version of vista.
