its in resolume 2, but hasnt made it to avenue so far, which is a huge shame in my opinion. with the unlimited layers of avenue, you could arpegiate videos by having each layers opacity set to a different number of beat divisions. it was always a great trick in resolume 2 ( one which i still load it up for, but having just 3 layerts is limiting )
is it likely to reapear in avenue?
to take this idea a bit further.... how about an on / off sequencer for the layer opacity? if for instance it had 16 steps, you could specify which steps the opacity is either 0% or 100%... this on a few layers, each with thier own on / off sequencer would be stupidly good, allowing you to make "riffs" with videos.
