R3.0.0 Hung and will not quit

Just changing decks and now R3.0.0 has completely hung (whitescreen) and will not quit, even on "kill process." - happened once before but I can't remember what I was doing at the time.

I have to reboot, but on both occasions Windows does not shut down, but hangs at the "Windows is shutting down" stage.

XP Pro SP3, NVidia 7900 GS 256 MB
