Problem with controllers

Post by ScoOnch »

Hi,
First of all, I'd like to apologised for my limited english (I'm french).

I use Resolume 2.3, a REACT midi controller and a ROM i/O (MIDI to Usb interface).

I have issues with the controllers (potentiometers?) configuration of the REACT midi controller, Resolume and other softwares (like freestyler DMX) recognised them with only two steps (not endless). It results that when I'm turning the controller on the clock way (left to right), it puts (for example) the layer opacity from 0% to 12% no matter how far I'm turning it. Same on the opposite way (12% to 0%).

The funny thing with it is that I have another PC with the same drivers (ROM i/O) and it works perfectly fine.

I'm not sure that I made myself clear but if you have any idea to resolve my problem....

Thanks.

When you map a knob to a parameter in resolume 2.3 (&2.41probably) you can choose the knop "type"

it's down in the "preferences" menu --> MIDI mapping tab. You can choose endless/fixed

Hope this will help!
