BUG: MIDI clock jumping synced with Ableton Live

Post by consciouspilot »

I've been testing this out for hours, and am loving it for the most part, minus a few bugs that I'm sure will be worked out soon!

I am syncing the midi clock from Ableton Live to Avenue, and the BPM typically stays on, but keeps jumping up and down. When I am doing audio like this, on BPM mode, and when it is synced up to the master, it jumps up and down like a dub tape stop to compensate, which sounds horrible. It tends to jump from like 130 to 128 and 132 etc to compensate then back really quick, but over time this will make the sound drift.

I have been putting it on timeline mode to compensate which sounds a little better, but then I am missing the BPM stretching mode which will make the clip the same length as what I am trying to match it to in Ableton.

Has anybody gotten a MIDI clock working with Ableton or any other clock to be dead solid and not jump?
