Hi there - somehow Resolume Avenue isn't outputting any sound. i'm on Windows Vista (no comment..), and I just recently installed Service Pack 1 before I bought the full version of Avenue. i noticed the sound was working just fine BEFORE i installed SP1. I didn't play with any settings. On the other hand, my demo version of Avenue installed on my desktop running windows xp pro is working fine - sound and video.
any ideas?
thanks, patrick

Re: no sound
Have you checked the obvious things?
* Audio device in Avenue preferences
* Resolume application level in Vista audio mixer
An alternative to using the Vista audio drivers (which can be problematic) is to install Asio4All (http://www.asio4all.com/) - Resolume will then have an extra audio driver available to it through the ASIO protocol.
When you use the ASIO device, you will need to click the options button and set up ASIO to output to the actual soundcard device that you want to use. You can then select it from the drop down in the Resolume preferences.
Hope this helps!
Dan.

"* Resolume application level in Vista audio mixer"
aha! this was it! I was so annoyed with the intermittent "resolume" vocoded voice in the demo that i muted the application through Vista.
thanks for the reminder!
