Resolume 3.0.1 Released
Re: Resolume 3.0.1 Released
Has anyone else gotten the Tunnel effect operating? I just get a blank layer when I try to use it.

If you are having problems with the Tunnel plugin, please add details of your system to the thread at:

I'm working on the problem, which is some sort of graphics card compatability issue. The more information I have about systems it does and doesn't work on, the sooner I'll be able to work out a fix.

I have to ask, what was causing that 0 Byte Record Bug? I know you guys were pretty stressed about it.
Re: Resolume 3.0.1 Released
nice on las, at first tryout it seems much more stable. here's hoping you can chill for a wee while.
Re: Resolume 3.0.1 Released
Alas, this update has proven to be buggier than 3.0 for me. Not only do my videos play much choppier than before (which was already an issue), but when I play media, it is always off-center (about 50 pixels shifted to the left at 640x480). Using the "Maximize Video" button always places the clips in this position, so I have to manually adjust each clip.
Please tell me it's possible to revert back to 3.0! I can't use Resolume as it now stands!
I'm on XP Pro SP3 with a Nvidia 9800 GTX+.

Odd, does it also happen with the included demo footage? What kind of video files do you use?racher wrote:when I play media, it is always off-center (about 50 pixels shifted to the left at 640x480)
Are you sure you have not accidentally set the layer position?
Yes all Reoslume versions are installer to different directories so you can safely install and run all different versions on the same computer.racher wrote:Please tell me it's possible to revert back to 3.0!
Re: Resolume 3.0.1 Released
It would be worth checking that the position and anchor settings for the layer are at 0 as well - if they were set to anything else then clips would appear off centre and would need manually adjusting.

A way to get AV samples into your computer without buying any extra software:
Download DVIO (http://www.carr-engineering.com/dvio.htm)
You can use this to capture direct from your DV camera to a file on your computer.
Download VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/)
You can use VirtualDub to:
* Trim out the part/s of the captured file that you want to use as your AV sample/s
* Make some minor adjustments such as brightness/contrast and so on
* Save the Video as an AVI in any codec on your machine (Get and Use indeo 5.11 http://www.free-codecs.com/download/indeo_codec.htm) if you don't want to buy a codec
* Save the Audio as an uncompressed WAV file
You can then import the AVI and the WAV into Resolume for AV sample goodness.
(Remember, it is recommended to separate the video and the audio into separate files for best performance in Resolume)
