hi, here is what the help says
Capture devices
If your capture device (or webcam) has VFW (Video for Windows) drivers, you can use the input from that device in Resolume. This way you can, for example, use the feed from live camera,. and apply real-time effects to them, overlay this feed with your other footage, etc.
To load a capture device, click on the generator button at the top of the interface. At the top of this list, you should then see your device listed under "capture drivers'". Drag this list item to a channel and you're done. Double-click the list item to set up the driver settings for that device.
i have a Dazzle DVC80 and it supports VFW, but in help it doesnt specify what should i configure format source and display to be...
what should i do to make it work?
(it works fine with windows, and premiere, and msn messenger, etc, etc)
configure live capture!!
Hi Stark,
if it works well with other appz in windows i gues it should work with resolume aswell.
i use a pctv rave card from pinnacle and the only thing i have to specify outside of resolume is the input (composite/s-video/cable) once that is set u can change the other settings of the inputsignal in resolume(resolution, bit depth and stuff like that).
just double click the name of the capture device in the generators section...
hope this helps...
