Display 2 doesnt work

If I hook up another monitor to my Macbook Pro(leopard), the only way I can get video onto to that monitor is by hitting windowed-display 1 and then dragging that window over to display 2. From there I have no way of maximizing the window to fit to screen and the window actually wont even stay in the middle, it is forced to the side. CLicking neither output full screen for display 2, nor windowed work for display 2.

There is another error...when I drag my mouse in the windowed window, my mouse disspears and only reappears when I move my mouse into expose terriotory.

I have tried on a bunch of different monitors.

Does anybody know how I can fix this? Or maximize the windowed video once i drag it in to part of display 2?

Right now this is actually preventing me from performing live and is a serious problem. Thanks.

i dont think this is an error, it stops you from accidentaly showing your pointer on your output.... its a good thing.

I see that. That problem is guess isn't a problem. My main problem still is though, as I can't perform because I can't full screen Display 2.
