scan converter

do you know if the quality of image is better with a scan converter (REAL-UTV2000 Â£109.95) or with dualhead card, or if it's the same?

a have a TView gold i used to use - the quality out of my matrox g550 is far superior.
You can get an excellent signal from a scan converter if you are willing to pay a lot of money - cheap ones tend to be...cheap.
They are cheap to hire if you want one for a gig - any decent AV company will have good ones.
