Dashboard midi mapping not working

Dashboard midi mapping not working

The dashboard knobs appear to receive the midi info when I'm mapping but when I switch mapping off the controls do not respond. Also, I tried manually mapping them. Can you only map manually on channel 1?

Ok...sorry, I get it now. The dash knobs don't become operable until you actually link them to something.
