I had the same problem with the Layer 1 (topmost layer in the default 3 layer setup) occurring again - it's occurred before and I think I reported it a while back.
Sliding the slider using mouse click & drag does alter the opacity of the layer, but when the mouse is released, the layer snaps immediately down to 0, making the active clip on that layer invisible.
Using latest release of R3, on XP Pro SP3.
Thanks
Richard

Is anyone else encountering this issue?

Re: BUG: Layer 1 Visibility Slider Problem again
This bug sounds so unusual, but i guess most bugs are actually, isn't there a midi controller set up that controls th opacity, or is the opacity maybe linked or something along that line?

I'll check into it - I don't think it's a MIDI controller issue, but I may be wrong!

Hi ... for some reason, the opacity had got linked to Dashboard knob 1 - sorted now, thanks.
