Isn't this already there? On Res 3.0.1 I see back, forward, pause and random (R symbol) on the transport controls.

It would be nice to specify playback speed in terms of fps and not just a fraction of standard speed.

Will check it out - am I being affected by selective blindeness again ... yeah - I also like the idea of fps control.

On another tip - I have also been doing a lot of testing with resolume 3 using multiple monitor setups - and the multiple monitor tests I have made up until this point are giving great results.

Agggh - ok I see the issue - random is available in the layer transport controls if a clip does not have associated audio or is purely audio. As soon as audio becomes involved random is not available.

Clips without audio can be random - no worries - will double check the manual to see what the developers actually say about this. [ NOT much it seems ]

However on testing - playing a clip randomly while another audio track is playing does produce audio artifacts and popping [ with my poor sound hardware ] - so I guess random audio is going to be a distorted mess - but sometimes - this could actually be really nice.
