I,ve updated the forum to the latest versio, hopefully that will keep the russian spam maffia away!

Make sure you also go and adjust the permissions on the various files and directories. There are guides on how to do this, but you basically set every file except the landing page to be invisible to all (except owner).

I locked down my Wordpress install this way, and have had no problems since (knock on wood, fingers crossed).
