As this isn't cross platform I guess its way down the list.
Would be good though!
How about a FreeFrame GL wrapper for QC compositions? Thats probably not even possible.
Oh well
Quartz Composer Integration
Re: Quartz Composer Integration
Quartz Composer is really interesting, we've been playing around with it for a while.
First though we would like to release the 3.0.2 version and then we will have a look into building support for QC.
It's too easy not to, and of course the competitors have support for this as well.

Re: Quartz Composer Integration
Edwin- Would integrating with Quartz Composer let us use effects that can be used in Quartz Composer? (emulators, etc?)
Re: Quartz Composer Integration
Yes it would.

Re: Quartz Composer Integration
I'm keenly interested in this, especially given the current lack of FFGL plugins.
Re: Quartz Composer Integration
I think I'm getting more and more excited for QC Integration!

Re: Quartz Composer Integration
Would there be any way to use QC functionality in Windows within an FFGL wrapper, or does it require OSX binaries in which case I guess not.

Re: Quartz Composer Integration
Well... Yes and no. No because Quartz Composer is largely dependent on proprietary Apple technologies like Core Image and the overall Quartz framework. But yes because those technologies are in turn dependent on the GPU, which can be addressed from any OS. When it comes right down to it, Quartz Composer is just a nifty graphical interface for easily stringing OpenGL commands together. If you have the patience and time to do the dirty work, there's no reason QC patches can't be ported to other formats. I don't know that much about FFGL but VVVV or just straight GLSL come to mind.Would there be any way to use QC functionality in Windows within an FFGL wrapper
Personally I prefer anxiously holding my breath till the Resolume devs implement full on QC support! Quartz Composer FTW!

PS So what's the word on QC4.0 and Snow Leopard support then eh?
