Select Midi Channels

Post by fredo0411 »

Hello
Sorry for this question, I searched and I didn't fine anything...
I'd like to activate just one midi channel, and not the 16. How can I do ?
I'm sure It's simple but I don't find it...
Thanks !
Fred :)

Hi Fred,

As far as I know there is no way to filer the input with Resolume directly. You would have to change the midi output on your hardward to send on a specific channel. Then map all the commands in Resolume to that hardware. Resolume will ignore any midi data coming in on a different channel if there is no mapping connected with it.
Want to map LED rings with Resolume? Then look no further: https://goo.gl/f2dPGu

Gradek is right, in version 3 you don't select the channels you want to use.

I THINK (Don't quote me) that Midi-OX can be used as a channel mapper to get this to work, depending on your setup. Sorry I'm not sure, but you could look into it. It's free!

What would be the reason for you to be able to select the MIDI channels. If there something we might overlooked we would like to know.
