Hi,

I'm going to buy a new laptop. I'am in doubt which graphical card i shoud buy. The choice is between:

XXODD XNI760wun 15,6" TFT

Video: nVIDIA GeForce G105M, 512MB GDDR2 VGADirectX 10.0 compatible
Harde schijven: 320GB SATA harde schijf 7200RPM (16Mb cache)
Optische schijf: DVD-/+ dual layer (her)schrijver
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 (2,80GHz, 1066Mhz FSB, 6Mb)
Werkgeheugen: 4GB DDR2 800MHz (2x 2GB)
Windows Vista of XP: Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit) + windows 7*

OR

Video: ATi Mobility Radeon 4570, 512MB GDDR2 VGA, DirectX 10.0 compatible
Harde schijven: 320GB SATA harde schijf 7200RPM (16Mb cache) (+ € 44,00)
Processor: Intel Core i7 720QM (1,60GHz, 2,80GHz Turbo, 6MB)
Werkgeheugen: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz geheugen (2x 2GB)
Windows Vista of XP: Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit) + windows 7*

Both have an eSATA port, so i want to buy an external SSD drive for movie playback.

Can anyone help me with some usefull advice.

ciao,

B

I think if you go whit the Intel i7. You should use multiple of 3 for ram
ex: for 3g go whit 3x 1g for 6g go whit 3x 2g.

Also if you want max performance also put SSD inside for the system instead of 320GB SATA 7200RPM.
If you need more space use external usb or firewire hardrive the are cheap price. Just shure to buy one
with a wester digital insinde. In the 10 past years i use a lot of differents external hard drive. After some
time they all broke, lacie (hitachi), segate , .g-technology (hitachi) exept those use western digital.

For your SSD media drive look closely the reading speed before you bought one.

Ciao.

there are also existing Socket 1366 Mainboards for Desktops with only 2 ddr3 slots
i don't think that laptops have normally 3 slots in future :?

hi there you guys,

im just curious to know your opinions about the graphic cards and if its possible the choice redspark made. Im searching for the right laptop 3 days and 3 nights now and i very tired( this is just because of my budget and obsession...)

Resolume support turn me down (politely , they are very customer friendly and really quick on their answers!) with nvidia g130m and 9300 (even if they are above the requierements) because they aren't always in dedicated mode and this only works in vista and etc and etc. My apologies for my super blah blah blah ability..

thanx for every help....
