An idea for you--

Perhaps you could run this VST in Ableton, and then sync the Ableton controls to Resolume through MIDI Yoke. For example, if you have a red video and you want red lights, have the VST send MIDI information from Ableton to Resolume through the MIDI Yoke. Turn up the track in Ableton and it should bring up both the lights and the video.

is someone out there who realized that? is there an possibility to check the colors of the playing video?

i found something to realize that kind of ambilight with dmx control. The only thing you need is this programm here: LINK and a usb - dmx controller like this one: LINK
