that second one is a vector rendering from some 3D package, i assume. It can also be a vectorized animation.
But I think the former...
3D studio can do this with some third party plugins

The tube we've made with the help of Swift 3d, you can make simple 3d-objects with it or import 3d-studio-max files into it.

The attachment is also made with Swift3d,

Huge update in the trigger.Motion fileshare section today. 4 new pieces by Eirenah, 8 animations from Lik and a second round of SWF's by yours truly that include some moire pattern animations inspired by LEVLHED.
