Resolume 2 with my MacBook in BootCamp for debut performance

Hey guys,
i'm a complete beginner to all this and i have organised a techno club night in belfast so i have two weeks to get all my kit sorted. My harvesting and video archives have been going well and i have been practising my sets everytime i get the chance.

One problem though i have been reading around this site and others and there seems to be a recurring problem with the mini dvi output on the mac when used in bootcamp (windows xp). I have searched these forums for various answers no no avail. I am sorry if i am asking a previously answered question. I bought my macbook just before christmas and it is the latest OS X with Nividia graphics card. I was wondering if i would need anything else to effectively display my set.

I am using a mind dvi to vga adaptor for a projector and i am using resolume 2 (latest update). I will not be able to check if the set-up works until the day of the club night. To avoid any unforseen problems are their any drivers i need to download? Do i need any other equipment? I have a min dvd player on standby with clips from 1984, easyrider, space odyssy etc... on standby just in case but i would realy like my debut performance to go down without any issues.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. I have been harvesting most of my video from youtube and my own private dvd collection. The event is by invitation only so i shoulnt need to worry about copyright laws. Have anybody else encountered any problems with a similiar set-up? The last thing i want is for it all to go tits up on the night.

you may have issues getting your secondary output working. ATI's bootcamp/xp driver sucks

Hey, used to use my macbook pro with boot camp running resolume 2.3 and 2.4
Never had any problems, i just had an apple DVi to VGA convertor but any one would do the same thing, no problems with resolume what so ever, and i used thats et up at festivals, big clubs in london and never encountered a crash.

Try testing your set up at home by using a computer monitor as the second out put from your Windows bootcamp.
