Where are the Invert,Flanger,Low Cut knobs?

Post by asnothingelse »

Hi,
i'm using Resolume 3 since a little time and now i'm experiencing a strange issue you can maybe solve.

In my previous compositions I used to have the "Invert-Flanger-Hi cut-Low cut etc..." controls in the Dashboard of the Composition.

Now I created a new compositions but there aren't the same knobs ! I only get "Link 1-Link2 - Link3.." and no Invert, Flanger etc...

How can I activate them? thank u so much for the help.

Invert,Flanger,Low Cut knobs are preset in the demo composit

Hey asnothingelse,

Drag and drop the effects you wish to use from the effects panel (resolume browser window) into your composition effects area. Then just simply drag and drop the "value" (for example "dry wet") onto one of the dashboard's free slots. Voilà!
If things are still unclear: Have a closer look @ the manual. It's all mentioned there as well ;)

Have Fun

Ah ok !
Thank u much. I was trying to drag and drop the name of the effect, not its values !

But, at the start I had the link knobs connected to "Flanger", "High Pass", "Low Pass" effects.
These effects are normally related to audio but in my demo composition concerned video modulation !
Now, if I try to drag and drop them to Video Composition Effects, they can't work !
They only go to audio effects pane, why that ?

Thanks

Although the dashboard knobs are called Flanger, High Pass etc in the demo composition, these are arbitrary names. In the demo file they are linked to BOTH audio and video effects, allowing you to do audio visual VJ'ing.

If you want to link to just a video effect, simply drag the property name onto the dashboard knob, as Tschoepler mentions above.
