The overlay feature doesnt seem to work.. I know this because you cant clone an overlay field normally, you get a 'blank' screen.. (0F0000). I had the dvdmax funtion work once, and it worked REALLY well, and thats exactly what i want from resolume. But as i said, only once, and i've tried a lot. If theres anyone who has it stable PLEASE tell me how. Thanks
config:
Athlon xp 1600
768mb ram
g450 dualhead
More dvdmax problems
also, when i use the posterize effect on a video on layer 3 (f3) the program freezes.. i can of course evade it but i'm still at risk of running into more crashes while doing a performance. And again, this worked once before, so i dont see why it failed now. The video is cinepak encoded, 320x240, and rendered in that resolution
or you could try undocking and docking the output window by pressing the dual monitor button.
your displays must be in clone mode otherwise the overlay is never created, it works the same as with the windows media player, when using real dualscreen the overlay won't be created.
so the overlay is not cloned like you implied.

i've noticed that that worked too, but theres a big downside to the zoom function: 1: its not at the same framerate, the busier the computer, the slower your second monitor, even if the first one is showing smooth n silky. second, the only way to get a decent image on there is with smoothing. and i dont have 8 processors and a hat to support that. I've also noticed that a lot of times effects just stop working properly, like the ellipses, blocks and diamonds just turn to squares like in low-res
euhhh i know there was a reason..
i havent used it in a while cuz the bugs were getting to my nerves.
oh right i remember.. well cuz professionally it looks like doggy poo when you have a 20 foot screen and having a window shift on there and a mouse cursor pressing fullscreen. I dont mean to be a bitch but when it comes to a show i'm a perfectionist.
