Resolume crashs computer windows 7

hi - i have got a very strange problem:

My new Laptop, Dell Studio 1557 with i7 and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 Grafic, 1 GB and 4GB RAM, Windows Professional 64Bit, crashes after working with Avenue for a while.

So i could work at the machine with any programs and no problems, play videoclips a hole night by mediaplayer, rund photoshop, illustrator and dreamweaver at the same time.

But 5-15 minutes after starting Resolume Avenue my computer shut down with black screen, followed by the blue screen at restart. windows is not able to restart again - no restart mode works, i have to make a complete system recovery by windows the system repair console.

i am not shure if it is a hardware problem or a software incompatibility. - my calls to dell supporthaven't been heplful. after system checkups they told me that the hardware is okay.

could it be an incompatibility with the ATI Catalyst driver?

could me help anybody?


- edit: i have got the same problem using resolume 2.4.1 ...

seems something is getting a little hot inside
but you say it is new... and so dirt or dust shouldnt be the problem?
but if it happens on both versions, it seems like it's something with your system..
maybe other graphic card drivers work (but should also not be the problem or are there many different drivers for win7)?
