Using capture device-

Alright- so I have two sources of video- one of which is working and the other not working......the source of video that is not working is the dslr that has live feed.(canon 5d mark ii).....I can watch the video through eos utility but resolume capture devices is not reading it.......urgent hellp needed even if it means going out to buy a webcam....

AFAIK most digital cameras that do not have a firewire connection are very difficult to stream. That's why Canon have their own proprietary viewer app.

It's better to look for a webcam solution or use a converter like the Canopus ADVC 110: http://www.grassvalley.com/products/advc110
