hello all
i have a very newb question re dxv conversion. i've been checking it out on the forums here, and have downloaded the livid instruments batch export utility. but if i "choose the export format", the drop down menu mentions nothing about "dxv", only quicktime movie and the other regular formats as well. all my movies are in .mov format already, most rendered with photo-jpeg. uh, am i doing something wrong? i am kind of at sea here.
thanks in advance for the very gracious and helpful answers i know i'm going to get---this is a great community here...
cheers

hello deb,
first you select your source folder and your destination folder.
second you click the button at "3. settings"
in the new window you can choose the dxv-codex at "video / settings". for me it is set on default to h.264.
at compression type you can chose the dxv-codec - thats all.
if you use the alpha channel for the new alpha-channel-feature of dxv, then you have to set alpha channel to preserve.
now everything is fine and you are ready to start.
