total newbie

Ok im a total newbie, being a dj i would love to add some variety for my sets, but dont have clue what im doing at the moment, i have couple of question,

when i load a mov file in resolume i get this awful high pitch sound and when i load some avi files i get not sound what so ever any ideas, and can i load a whole mp3 clip?

any help would be appreciated

Hey Razbo

When you are experiencing problems with file playback, my first guess would be that's it's a codec issue. Please see the 'preparing media' chapter of the manual (http://resolume.com/avenue/manual/) for more info on preparing your content.

kind of helps, so the mov clips i have do i need to covert them, sorry for the silly questions, like i said i am newbie,
