Missing Resolume sources on 3.2.0

Post by biscuit »

Hi !! I recently tried to update to Resolume 3.2.0 only to find out that my compositions were missing all source clips like stroboscope, static, feedback etc. I also noticed that some effects like the particles behave now differently resulting in different output altogether.. Any ideas how I can have 3.2.0 load my compositions from 3.1.3 properly without me having to manually re-place them?

Thnx

I have experienced the same problem. The log file (located under Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Resolume, and worth checking) says "find video plugins and add them to the plugin collection", followed by nothing about actually loading said plugins. The vfx path is correct.
A clean install (as in, uninstall, then reinstall - installing over the old install is not enough) seems to help.

Hmmm. Are the plugins actually installed in the vfx path (C:\Program Files\Resolume Avenue 3.2\plugins\vfx)?

yes.

could be a problem with 3rd party plugins as well - i've only had it happen when i've had bigfug plugins and ff1.0 plugins installed.
