Hey,
I guess this will be tough to explain - but I try:
I'd really like to have the possibility like when playing back clips that they play forward and then backwards - this feature is missing for the audio FFT - I think this is quite important since a lot of effects won't loop fine when always starting at the beginning [like for color effects the color is 'jumping' etc.].
Hope you got what I meant.
Cheers
Audio FFT in both directions
Re: Audio FFT in both directions
Hey Rotor
I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean. If you link a parameter to Audio FFT, it will react to the incoming sound frequencies, and won't play by itself. So looping doesn't really come into it. If the volume is loud, the parameter will move to the right, if the volume is low, the parameter will move to the left.
For looping a parameter, the timeline mode is probably the way to go.
I hope that answers your question, if not, could you explain it again?

Re: Audio FFT in both directions
I think Rotor wants the Audio FFT to bounce, so if you use the additive function it bounces when it reaches the max value.

Ah yes, I forgot about those little plus and minus icons. My bad
I'll make a feature request then!

Thanks a lot! [yes - would have been easier with the word 'bounce'

I'm really looking forward to use this feature!
