I just purchased AirDisplay for my iPad. this a great app, although it won't work with Resolume.
AirDisplay adds another screen to your computer. that is cool, but what makes it amzing is that when you drag and app to the iPad and maximize it, the app can be turned into a touch app.
Example: when i open Ableton Live 7 and drag it to the iPad screen and maximize the app, it does indeed turn into a touch app. the other night i was sitting on the couch while using ableton live on my iPad...it was MAD CRAZY.
the reason this would awesome is that you would have Resolume on the iPad just like it would be on the computer with touch controls, also you would be able to actually see the clips being triggered.

Re: iPad/AirDisplay/Resolume compatibility
Cannot help about that problem - but I basically did the same with an extra touchscreen monitor attached to my notebook. Loosely described in this topic: http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6894
Re: iPad/AirDisplay/Resolume compatibility
Without knowing more about how AirDisplay works under the hood, I'd say this has to do with how Resolume handles playing back video, conflicting with the way AirDisplay handles it. But that's just my guesstimate
