Clip properties as effects

Post by olivepixel »

How about duplicating many of the clip properties in effects?

I think it would be handy to control scale (or whatever) with midi, but I'd like to be able to easily reset it to default. If it were an effect I could just disable it. It would also then be possible to add another scaling method (eg FFT controlled).

Is there a specific parameter you need most? Maybe I can help you - depends on the OS you're running.

Yes, exactly, just like the After Effects Transform effect.

An FFGL effect that supported scale, position and rotation would be a lifesaver. Can't be difficult to implement.

At the moment I just wanted scale; kind of got around it using the tile effect, but not a great solution. In the future I can imagine using others...
