that's my worry,
I prepare sequences 1920x480px (broadcast on three screens via Matrox TripleHead2Go), for certain I would pass by After Effects (CS5) and do it with QuickTime codec DXV.
I tried several settings but nothing to do, the rendering crash starts almost immediately and by the same crash used After Effects.
No problem if I work my data in any other format, it happens with QuickTime / DXV and I want to make my movies with this codec (terribly effective in Resolume! Despite the weight ..

It seems that the problem stems from a crash of "rendering module" QuickTime ... but why?
Are there any special settings to make in After Effects at the record ..?
Note that I also tested a single crop and export in DVX via AdobeMediaEncoder for the same result, crash after 2-3s of Treatment ..:-/
I have to go through my trusty Asus Laptop (XP Pro / / 2GB RAM //...) in QuickTime to encode / DXV (via AdobeMediaEncoder) prepared my data on my new PC in another format... not handy ..:-/
Does the fact that i have installed QuickTime freeware instead of QuickTime Pro may have an impact?
Is it simply a problem of RAM? (I intend to spend 8GB ...)
Motherboard Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Pentium 2.80 GHz quad core i7 930
Video Card NVidia GTX470 1280Mo
2x2GB DDR3 Ram (soon 4x2Go ...)
Hard Drives (x2) Western Digital 7200 Sata / / 32MB cache / / 640GB (x2)
O / S Windows 7 / / 64bit
In the hope of receiving help from you,
cordially,
