DXV 2.1 - crashes in any software except avenue

Hi all!

I have installed the last version of quicktime 7.6.7 and now i get an error message when i tried to open my files codec with DXV 2.1

I tried to install again the DXV 2.1 codec and quicktime does not permit to reinstall the DXVWindows.qtx Access is denied.

The file was created on Premiere CS3 quicktime/DXV

What can i do?

Have you seen any of the other threads on this. I think a few people are experiencing the same problems! hope you get it sorted!

+1 for me, and i really don't know how this happed,

everything was working fine, recording in Avenue my loops, then using Mpeg Streamclip to convert my loops to quicktime DXV 2.1. Then in the middle of working yesterday, impossible to convert to DXV, each time i do, Streamclip freeze up and crashe. I got the same result with Adobe's media converter CS5, crash too. Converting to any other format works fine.

To be safe, i did a complet re -install, system 7 / updates/ drivers/ quicktime and flash / everything clean,
and just did a DXV 2.1 install and Mpeg Streamclip, and same résult.........crash.

So for the moment i'm stuck, cant encode, but i can still make loops. Since i really dont need alpha support, can i go back to DXV 1.0 or other until this is resolved? even if it encodes slower?

Ok, i just got the DXV 2.2.1 update, and Mpeg Streamclip is working again !!

great work guys, really fast update, can get back to work, will report later on Avenue update !!

ok, i got it;) new DXV codec works great, no more problems!
This codec is really terribly effective in Resolume but what weight! will have to think in terabytes now ...
