How do I get effects to extend beyond size of image?

Hi

Here's a short recording I made in Resolume:



It's just a png image of coloured text on a transparent background. As you can see in the video, when I apply a RadialBlur, the effect only goes as far as the edge of the photo, not out into the entire area of the composition. Is there a way of getting the effect to extend to all the area of the composition without increasing the dimensions of the png file?

When you apply the effect on the composition then it will expand beyond the size of the clip.
