Firstly apologies if there is an answer to this on the forum - I paged through and searched but couldn't find anything.
Though the high level features info for Avenue states network streaming is an option I can find no info in the manual on how to do this.
My intent is to hook several webcams to a pc running resolume to capture events during an art installation and stream them to another version of resolume running on a macbook pro where I will mix the webcam feeds with other footage. They will both be on the same wireless network.
Is this possible and how would I do it?
I have read the old manual but it didnt really help me - I am certainly not seeing any 'VIDNET' servers in my source tab.
Thanks

Re: Network Streaming in Avenue
Hey Rothko
I'm afraid Vidnet is a Resolume 2 protocol, which is not supported on R3. Out of the box, R3 does not have any network streaming options (and I'm curious to see where you read this).
There are a couple of workarounds floating about, check out this thread for more info: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6664&p=26753&hilit=bigfug#p26753

Thanks Rotor for your reply.
I rephrased my question in a separate post and Edwin is suggesting Quartz Composer so I will try that first but thanks for your comment.
