geforce 7600gt doesnt starts with resolume

hi,i have geforce7600gt in my pc ,software windovs vista ultimate.resoune3 shows that my video card have not enough power to drive the resolume3.so which specification of my video card is to low to work eith resolume.thanks.simas

what error code do you get? are your drivers up to date?

The Geforce 7600 is unfortunately indeed not powerful enough to run Avenue. Although it could probably limp by performance wise, since the card is no longer actively being developed it also lacks drivers with support some of the extensions that Resolume needs to run.

So I'm afraid you're going to have to look for a newer graphics card. Performance will be *a lot* better with a more modern model, so I think it will be a good investment.

The 9500GT looks like a pretty decent card for that budget range. It is most definitely better than a 7600GT.

I have the same graphics card with resolume 3 but i'm running it on an iMac. Is it powerful enough for the mac version? I seem to be getting a black box over where the output monitor and preview monitor are. I'm still running the demo version so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. I want to buy the software but i won't if my GPU cant handle it.

I can't stress this enough, if the demo version is not working, buying the full version will NOT, NEVER EVER improve this. The only limitation of the demo is a watermark on the audio and video output, but otherwise behaves identically.

Well, the 7600GT not starting is the original topic for this thread. The driver support for that card is actually slightly worse on Mac, so it's not going to run. As mentioned, it could probably push around some 320x240 clips, but there are a few extensions not supported that Avenue needs to run.

You'll really benefit from getting a better computer. I didn't even know there were Intel Macs with the 7600GT in there.
