Multiple remote webcams into Resolume Avenue

This is related to my previous question which I called Network Streaming. The response to that post was that Resolume 3 did not support network streaming so I wanted to state what I am trying to do to see if anyone had any ideas.

I want to capture live images from some performance art activities that occurring in an art exhibition that I am curating and mix them live with prepared video loops and add effects with Resolume.

The webcams will be remotely located - in other rooms - from where the Macbook running Resolume will be located.

How can I get the video feeds from the remote webcams into resolume? I was thinking of possibly setting up a video streaming server - but can Resolume recognise a URL for each of the cams?

Any ideas from people who have done this would be great - thanks.

There might be virtual capture devices that can display the URL. Quartz Composer might also be a solution, make a quartz composer composition that renders the URL, i'm not sure if Quartz Composer is capable of doing this, but if so that would be the ideal solution.

Will try this out and report back - I know zilch about Quartz Composer and the gig is two weeks away .... slight nerves creeping in.

the new VH Screen Capture Driver 2.1 seems to be able to capture url's,
