How to make the footage to work with interruptions in R3? For example, some logo-footage shows-up for 15 seconds every three minuets?

How about making a clip of 3 minutes that shows the logo for 15 seconds. Quick and easy

What if organizers bring a logo file to you in the middle of performance and there is no time for preparations? That shit happens a lot.LUX.visuals wrote:How about making a clip of 3 minutes that shows the logo for 15 seconds. Quick and easy

I have few .swf files with dynamic text and i want them running on screens with breakups, not permanently.

OK, I get it.
You could make an .swf that loads an external image and only shows it for 15 seconds every 3 minutes. The only thing you would have to do is to change the filename and you're ready to roll.
Maybe it's even possible to select the image from the properties box. But i,m not that much into actionscript so this is just a guess.

Re: Your advice
on a own layer you can try to use an osc patch like chaos...
you have only 1 clip on the layer but you switch through the empty slots also...
for example
layer with clip
change every 128 beats or so
clip amout is 32 or something
and then sequence this
so you should be able to calculate a time which is fine for you
