Ableton and Resolume playhead sync

hi I am trying to get timeline in abelton to match up with resolume, so that if you loop part of a song in abelton same corrisponding part of video loops, ect, currently triggereing off midi, and everything is fine but seems if you jump in timeline the resolume clip will restart. seems like it should not be that hard just wondering if anyone has any ideas??

Have you tried trigger mode "piano"? - This way the clip plays until (Abelton) releases the MIDI note. So if you jump in the timeline in Ableton, the old video will stop.
