in and out point buttons

Post by coz3r »

my apologies if this has been addressed before. I did a search but didnt come up with anything. I was wondering if it was possible to map a punch button for the start and end of a loops time line. Like on a DVJ you can create a loop by hitting the in and out buttons. I know you can drag the start and end but its kind of a pain on the fly to make it sync with the beat. If its not possible can I put in a request? :)

not yet ( :?: @ developer). of course you can map the beatloopr buttons or use the feature via osc (layerX/clipX/audio/beatloop f). but you made me think about writing a max-patch for that purpose. i'll report back if i come up with something usable.

By default the in point and out point are mapped to the i and o buttons. If you want to change this then open the application keyboard mapping and select areas below the in and out point.
