Got one of these for resolumeAVE:

-solid build.
-small, clean footprint. (didn't want one that had 3 cords coming out of it - i.e. usb, composite + svideo, )
-about-a-second of latency.
-quality is on par with composite video... nothing revolutionary, but it scales decent.
- just installed the updated driver from the website, didn't have to install all the bloated capture software.
-works like a charm on windows7 64bit
- quality would not hack it to replace a v4 or v8 video switcher for imag, but it is great for adding a camera to your compositions and effecting it out a bit.
price is nice.. at $40-$50 USD ( got mine on amazon.com )
