I have a problem with the midiclock too.
First the beatpointer runns well...and everything is fine. But then after a while the Beatcounter stops.... with no reason. All the clips getting out of sync.
First I used a Kaos Pad 3 to generate a external midiclock.... I deactivated it just for some tests... but then this happend i wrote above.
How can I restart the Beatcounter without restart Resolume?

Re: audio/video playback issues in Avenue
Hey Cosmowe
It could be that when you disconnect the Kaoss Pad, Resolume is still looking for the midi clock coming from it. You can prevent this from happening by disabling midi clock for the Kaoss Pad before you remove it.
If that's not the problem, please tell us in clear steps what you're doing, because right now it's not clear enough to me what is happening and when (when is the Kaoss Pad removed, when does the BPM start drifting etc).
Hope that helps.

Re: audio/video playback issues in Avenue
hmmm I'll try to explain it better with my english
Setup
KP3 sends midiclock to Resolume via USB
After a while (random) using Resolume & KP3 (Cliptriggering, fx, Clipresync ..and so on) the Resolume BPM counter starts making strange things.
For example 130 BPM is send by KP3.... the Resolume BPM shows 130 BPM but for just a millisecond in every second the counter in Resolume shows 63 BPM << for example.....then he jumps back to 130BPM.
And agin after a while (random) this behaivior stops, with no special reaon, and the BPM counter does his normal good job again.
But sometimes the BPM signal totally stops and I have to switch off the KP3, unmark the KP3 Midi checkboxes in Resolume, restart the KP3 and recheck the KP3 midisettings in Resolume. <<< I dont really what to do this in a live performance.
I feel that this happens one time in two hours - with no special reason.

Re: audio/video playback issues in Avenue
It sounds like there are some beats being dropped somewhere between the Kaoss Pad and Resolume. To figure out where it is going wrong, can you confirm that the Kaoss Pad is sending the midi clock correctly and consistently?
Re: midi clock issue with Kaoss Pad
hmmmm.... I wich I could
I find no way to check the clock of the KP3 with my hardware stuff properly.
Till now I tried to use diffenrent USB cables....and other USB ports.
... In this moment I run a test with a 6m USB connection cable instead of 2m, on the same USB port where I had the dropbeat effekt. Since the last tree hours it runs good. hmmmm. I HATE TOOLS WITH SOULS!

Re: midi clock issue with Kaoss Pad
Oh but there it one point u may check.....
If u use a external midiclock.........and the conncetion ext.midicl.-->Resolume is getting lost (pull out the wire), then the inpoint of the resync button is not at the beginning of the clips.
