Touch Resolume 1.0 – TouchOSC Layout for R3 (ipad & iphone)

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to inform you that TouchOSC version 1.7 has a bug and no longer works with custom OSC values. Please do not upgrade if wish to use custom layouts like Touch Resolume.

Thanks Julian for the cool update. I'll have to check it out soon. I can't unzip the file since there is still a bug with unziping .touchosc files on mac. They have to be in a subfolder otherwise it converts them to .xml file.

These template look like what I'm after and why I bought an iPad!
However I'm having problems.

I run Res3 on a Mac and Res2.4 on PC

With Gradek's version:

I can sync it to my iPad2 from TOSC Editor no problem.
But there doesn't seem to be any communication between the two.
Have done a hundred reboots of all equipment.
Have deslected "bundles"
Have changed ports to 7000 & 7001 (also tried 5000 & 5001 as I use these for Ableton Live without any issues)
Have followed the installation instructions (for both templates) to the letter and am at a loss

With DJ MTK version:

Have downloaded the template for iPad.
It loads in editor fine and at the left says its for iPad.
However, when I try to sync it says "connect iphone/iPad" only.
Therefore my iPad isn't picking it up.

Any help either of you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
The work you've done looks amazing and I can't wait to get it functioning.

Are you sure that you are sending the OSC signals to the IP address of your computer? Syncing can be automatic, but you also need to make sure that the IP settings are correct.

The network settings on a mac will tell you the IP address. You can enter that in manually in the TouchOSC settings menu on your ipad.

One way to test if your computer is getting an osc signal is to use a program like OSCulator and see if you can communicate with that program on port 8000.
http://www.osculator.net/ The demo will be enough to test.

Also make sure you don't have any ports blocked by a firewall like little snitch. Perhaps you disabled communication for Resolume.
