I am a new user of resolume and i really like it and when I started looking at tutorials I heard this term FFGL.
What is FFGL? I tried googling it and things that comes up are links to where to download them.
Anyone can help me?
hi! FFGL
Re: hi! FFGL
Hey Faith, and welcome to the world of Resolume.
FFGL stands for Free Frame Graphics Library. It's the code language that all Resolume 3 effects are written in, and it's supported by a variety of other VJ apps as well.
It's important not to confuse FreeFrameGL with the older FreeFrame 1.0. FFGL effects work with the graphics card of your computer, and therefore are superfast even at high resolution. FF1.0 effects work with the CPU of your computer, and can be a bit slower. FFGL effects are the only ones supported on Resolume 3, and FF1.0 effects will not work.
Hope that answers your question.

Re: hi! FFGL
FF is a shorthand for FreeFrame and FFGL is the OpenGL variant of FreeFrame.goto10 wrote: FFGL stands for Free Frame Graphics Library. It's the code language that all Resolume 3 effects are written in, and it's supported by a variety of other VJ apps as well.
If you are by any chance a developer check our the FreeFrame site for the SDK.
