I dont think that is possible with the matrox cards. The Pixell VP-90 is a better option. It can output horizontally/vertically , duplicated/extended (whichever way you want).

this can be done using the Resolme composition controls. (position X, Y, and Z)
Your computer will see the 3 screens as a width, but then tell Resolume to use them as a stack, it may give you trouble if you're trying to use advanced output controls, or edge blending. It's been years since i've done this... I think Resolume was in version 3 last time i tried it. But it did work for me way back when.. now adays, i've got a better machine to do these types of jobs, a machine that has a fairly decent video driver that allows me the adjustments i want.
