BPM issues

Post by vjdep »

Hey,
I'm experiencing some really strange issues in Avenue 3.3.1 rev3055: the BPM sync option is really, really slow. With a manually input BPM of 170, it takes around 4 seconds for the BPM indicator to take a step. If I use MIDI clock instead, the indicator moves to the correct tempo, but if I sync some parameter to 1 beat, it will take something like 12 beats for it to move from one end to the other. BUT, if I instead use the "Composition Beats" sync option, then it moves correctly - but now I can only sync to single beats ("Link Beatmark").
Anyone else had this happen?

delete the preferences.xml (or is it config.xml, something like that) in your documents/resolume folder ;)

Well I kind of wanted to get to the bottom of this first... For the gig in question, I ended up using Open Sound Control via vvvv to link MIDI clock from WaveClock to whatever in Resolume... I'll post the Avenue OSC module I made for vvvv when it's finished ;)
