recording sets with resolume (quicktime issue)

hi. first of all i'd like to underline that it's my 1st post in here + i'm from non english speaking country so please forgive me for any mistakes

lately I was trying to record my vj set in resolume (ver 3.1.3) but when I press 'record' button such an error pops up: 'recording could not start. make sure you have quicktime version 7.6 or higher installed'

it's really confusing since i'm using quicktime pro ver. 7.6.9
the same error occured when i've tried a trial version of resolume 3.3.1
i'm working on vaio pc laptop with windows 7 installed.

do you guys have any clue what is the possible reason of getting such statement from my resolume software? any advice will be appreciated, ty in advance

What version of windows are you running?

did you install quicktime in the default location? did you install resolume in the default location?

is your windows localised or an english version?

Did you install/updated quicktime before Resolume Avenue? or afterwards, when you got that message..

I had the same problem before... Then i uninstalled Avenue, updated quicktime and did a new install with Avenu. For me that solved the problem.

PS.. Version 3.3.2 was just released... If you do a new install, i'd try the latest version!

I come back on this post coz I ve got the same issue and cant solve it.
I install quicktime before after Resolume 332 and vice versa and the same message comes again, 'recording could not start. make sure you have quicktime version 7.6 or higher installed'

I ve got quicktime 7.6.9 and resolume 3.3.2
Running on Windows 7, 64bits in french.

Everything is installed in default location.

I tried and tried again, but cant find how to solve it, can someone help me?
