hello resolumers,
is there anything like a midi aftertone/reverberant sound? so that i play the midi note and the value gets slowly smaller and smaller?
i just got a brand new alesis performancepad and i am facing some problems:
the basic idea was to be able to interact more intuitve than using a regular controler with knops and fader - since i do projections with a liveband.- the problem is
that either the effect is set to a fixed value and stays there (basicmode)
or that the effect only occurs as long the midi note is played (less than half second)
so you dont see any effect at all.
any suggestions?
best,
td

Hey Thermodynamik
I'm afraid I don't fully understand your issue, but perhaps the following is something for you:
-Put the opacity of an effect in timeline mode, set it to play backwards and play once.
-Now map the play backwards button to your midi controller.
Every time you press the button, the effect will punch in and fade out over time. The speed slider will control how fast the fade out lasts.
I hope that helps!

sry - me again..
joris, i just saw that you commented in another thread where someone was not able to detect his midi-controler in resolume
same thing happend to me now as well -
while i am able to see the device in a programm called midi-moitor -
theres absolutely no signal coming through in resolume (or other programs like midi patchbay, midipipe)
all other mididevices work fine..
i don`t get it maybe i just should go back to analoge projections..

If the device doesn't show up in other applications either, there's not a lot we can do about it. It's best to refer to the manufacturer in that case.
