Hello,
I'm trying to sync Ableton Live 8 to Resolume 3.0.1. So far, I've got Ableton set-up to send out a midi-clock via Midi Yoke. Resolume is then set to receive this clock via the same Midi Yoke channel, and it does show up on the clock indicator (the small yellow box flashes in sync with the BPM on Ableton, and changes when Ableton's global BPM changes, etc.)
The problem is that the Bars.Beat Counter does not count the beat that Resolume is receiving, and does not 'spin' around as it should. This means that my clips will not play at all if set to BPM Sync.
I've tried selecting an audio input (as suggested for others with midi clock issues), but Resolume does not detect any audio card on my PC (it's a chip on the motherboard). I don't think that's really the problem though, as it is getting a BPM input. It just won't count it.
Any suggestions welcome.
Many thanks,
Stephen

Re: Midi Clock Issues
Hello smcinema,
did u only tried to sync/receive with/from ableton till now?
Does resolume shows normal behavior if u use a nother software midiclock? >> http://midiclock.com/
What are your audiosettings you set in the resolume preferences?
Did you tried to re-install your on-board soundcard?

Re: Midi Clock Issues
If no soundcard shows up in Avenue there is probably something wrong with the installation of your sounddrivers... (And it is 99% sure the problem you experience in Avenue right now with the BPM sync..)
If you can't find the original drivers... Try to install ASIO4ALL (asio driver).. most onboard soundcards do work perfect with them...
Does the soundcard show up normally in your PC?? Can you play sound with the PC with Mediaplayer?
